We would like to post your experience here!

ALERT! There is currently an EEE ( Eastern Equine Encephalitis) outbreak in our area. Confirmed cases have been seen in Calhoun, Barry, St Joseph, and Cass counties. there have also been several horse deaths in Jackson county believed to be from the EEE virus. Unvaccinated horses in or near the affected areas should be vaccinated immediately . Horses who have been vaccinated should receive an EEE booster. EEE is nearly always fatal, but the vaccine is very effective at preventing infection.

Summer! The grass is green, the mosquitoes are biting and its hard to remember the bitter cold of winter as you are sweating in the saddle. Click here to read our summer health news!

We are a mobile clinic located in the Jackson MI area. We serve the surrounding areas of Parma, Spring Arbor, Munith, Stockbridge, Chelsea, Dexter, Ann Arbor, and beyond. We are a full-service equine clinic, entirely mobile/stall side.

We place a real emphasis on the horse-owner bond, and on trying to develop strategies to make veterinary care less stressful for the horse and the owner.

We have some unusual hours--Mon, Thurs, Fri from 11 am to 8pm, and Sat and Sun 10 am-4 pm. With the current economy, we hope not having to take an extra day from work for horse care will help horse owners out!

We offer emergency services 24 hrs/day 7 days a week

Case of the Month

We have two cases this month, both of which had injuries that are very common this time of year in Michigan.

“Taz” is a 19 yo Thoroughbred who is used primarily for fox-hunting in the winter months.

“Bandolier” is a 15 yo Paint who is an all-around kid’s show horse and trail horse. Both of them came up lame in the last month. Both of them had injuries to their suspensory ligaments.
